Faith's Place was founded to bring a thoughtful, safety-first approach to dog daycare and boarding in Kahului. Located inside The Pet Shop Maui, we provide a convenient, trusted destination for care and pet supplies in one location.
Our model focuses on structured socialization, supervised interaction, and calm group dynamics. Every dog completes a behavioral evaluation before joining daycare, ensuring a balanced environment for pets and staff alike.
We believe quality care requires more than open space. It requires training, observation, consistency, and a genuine commitment to every dog's well-being.

Meet the Owner
Renee K. Molina was born and raised on Maui and has devoted her life to animal care and community service. Her journey began at nine years old through 4-H, where she developed a lasting passion for working with animals.
As a sophomore in high school, Renee began working at The Pet Shop Maui and continues her involvement there today. Over the years, she has gained extensive hands-on experience in pet care while building trusted relationships within the Maui community.
Renee earned her certification as a veterinary technician from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and furthered her education in animal science through studies at Purdue University, Colorado State University, and the University of Hawaii. Her education, combined with decades of practical experience, shapes the structured and knowledgeable approach behind Faith’s Place.
Her vision is to provide a safe, loving environment for dogs while also creating a supportive workplace where her team can grow and succeed. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve Maui families and remains deeply committed to compassionate, dependable care.
